The Temple
Shree Swaminarayan Spiritual & Cultural Centre
Fifty years ago, in 1973, Sant Bhagwant Param Pujya Sahebji and Sadguru Sadhu Pujya Shantidada visited Peoria, IL for the first time at home of Dr Jitubhai and Ritaben. They were joined by Late Manubhai and Sudhaben, along with other devotees such as the families of Jitubhai Shah and Sudhakarbhai Baman. Since then Monthly Satsang Sabha initiated on a rotational basis.
Years later Poojaben and Bimalbhai Sheth family joined the Satsang. With the blessings and Vision of Sadguru Sadhu Pujya Shantidada, Satsang Sabha started in their basement. Today, this home has transformed into a Temple and Shree Swaminarayan Spiritual & Cultural Centre of Anoopam Mission. This was only possible through the divine grace of Sant Bhagwant Param Pujya Sahebji.
