The founder of Sharda Mandir, Late Shree Dinkarrai Pandya’s dream was to start an excellent day school. For this he visited the Hero School of England and acquired a large plot of land on Dakor Road in Nadiad. After Shree Dinkarrai Pandya’s demise, Sant Bhagwant Sahebji, the President and Spiritual Leader of Anoopam Mission, decided to build a day school on Dakor Road to make Shree Dinkarrai Pandya’s dream come true.
Businessman & Donor Shree Indukaka (Ipkowala), father of Anitaben, who was a former student of Sharda Mandir, donated Rs. 2 crore to start this day school.
The Secondary and Higher Secondary Departments which started from June 2007 were brought to the newly constructed building at Dakor Road from December 1, 2009. Sant Bhagwant Sahebji associated the name of Anitaben Dewangbhai Patel (Ipkowala) with this section.
The students of Sharda Mandir have excelled in Std. 10 and Std. 12 (Science, Commerce and Arts). It is a result of teaching and guidance from knowledgeable staff, advanced facilities and guiding principles of administrators and evidently the hard work of students. Many of the students of Sharda Mandir pursued excellent careers in the medical, engineering, law, business, finance etc.
