Anoopam Mission was established through the vision of Brahmaswarup Param Pujya Yogiji Maharaj. From 1951 to 1971, the date upon which he left His earthly form, Brahmaswarup Param Pujya Yogiji Maharaj was the spiritual leader of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottom Sanstha (BAPS), a rapidly growing sect within the Swaminarayan movement with millions of followers worldwide.
During the late 1950s to early 1960s, an energetic and charismatic youth by the name of Jashbhai Patel was the leader of a large youth group under Brahmaswarup Param Pujya Yogiji Maharaj. Jashbhai’s devotion to his guru, Brahmaswarup Param Pujya Yogiji Maharaj, was unparalleled and, as they developed an exceptionally close bond, Brahmaswarup Param Pujya Yogiji Maharaj affectionately addressed his young youth leader as ‘Saheb’.
All told, Brahmaswarup Param Pujya Yogiji Maharaj wrote over 400 letters to Sant Bhagwant Sahebji Maharaj during His lifetime. In these letters Brahmaswarup Param Pujya Yogiji Maharaj outlined Saheb’s destiny and provided a detailed set of instructions for Saheb to carry out His vision.The letters contain countless pronouncements foretelling the rise of a new, unique spiritual organization dedicated to the liberation of souls and to provide selfless service to humanity…
હવે બઘા યુવકો થકી કાર્ય થશે જ તે શ્રદ્ધા રાખજો. આખા બ્રહ્માંડમાં વિધાનગરનો ડંકો વાગશે. તમામ યુવકોને મારા અંતરના આશીર્વાદ.
” ‘Rajmaan Rajeshree’ Jashubhai, have faith that from now onwards the work will be done by the youth only. That group (of youth) in Vidyanagar will triumph throughout the universe.

હે જશુભાઈ, આપણે હર કોઈ યુવકને દાખલા – દલીલ દઈને સમજાવવા ને ખેતર ખાલી ખેડ્યા વિનાનું છે તો હે જશુભાઈ સાહેબ તે ખેડવાનો વખત આવ્યો છે… આખુ વિઘાનગર બ્રહ્મવિધાની કૉલેજમાં દાખલ થશે.

હે જશુભાઈ તમોને લખું છું. તો લક્ષ્મીના ઢગલા થશે. પછી તો તુટો (તોટો) નહીં જ આવે. તો હવે આપ તૈયાર થાવ ને બીજાને તૈયાર કરો. આપણા કામમાં દેવતાઓ સૌ સેવા કરશે. બ્રહ્મવિધાની કોલેજમાં દેવતાઓ સેવામાં આવશે.

હે જશુભાઈ સાહેબ, દા.સાઘુ જ્ઞાનજીવનના ઘણા હેતથી સ્વામિનારાયણ વાંચશો. આપ મંડળ વઘારશો. 125 યુવકો કડીતોડ એકાંતિક સ્વઘર્મ સિદ્ધ થાય તેવા બનાવજો તેવા રૂડા આશીર્વાદ છે. હે જશુભાઈ તમો સ્વામીના લાડીલા છો તો જે માગશો તે થઈ જાશે.

હે જશુભાઈ સાહેબ, હવે આ બાબત આપ બઘા વિધાનગર સંપૂર્ણ ભળો. આ કાર્ય ચૈતન્ય મંદિર કરવાના કારણે આપણે ઉપાડવાનું છે. દેશવિદેશ યુવકો જાય. ઘર્મ, નિયમ-આજ્ઞા-ઉપાસના શીર સાટે પાળે આપણો ઞંડો છે. બીજો કોઈ સ્વાર્થ પણ નથી. માટે શૂરવિર થાવું તો તો જ આ કામ બનશે. આપણે સ્વામીશ્રીજી તથા ભગતજી મહારાજ, પૂજય જાગાસ્વામી, પૂજય કૃષ્ણજીઅદા, પૂજય શાસ્ત્રીજી મહારાજ ને પૂજય સ્વામી નિર્ગુણદાસ સ્વામીને આગળ રાખીને આ કાર્ય સર્વોપરિ કરવાનું છે. તેમાં સંપૂર્ણ અમારા અંતરના આશીરવાદ છે.
“Oh Jashubhai Saheb, …You undertake this work in order to transform souls into Temples for God. The youth will travel across the country and overseas. They should strictly follow, ‘Dharma’ , ‘Niyam’ , ‘Agna’ and ‘Upasana’. That is the only goal and there is no other motive. Only by being brave will this be possible. So keep Swami Shriji , Brahmaswarup Param Pujya Bhagatji Maharaj , Brahmaswarup Param Pujya Jagga Swami, Pujya Krishnaji Ada, Brahmaswarup Param Pujya Shastriji Maharaj and Pujya Nirgundas Swami at the forefront and perform this supreme work.
