Under his leadership, the CVM has initiated a large number of new institutions and new courses, thereby contributing in training rural human resources with higher education in almost every discipline.

Shri Chandrakant Babubhai Patel, a proud Indian residing in the United Kingdom for over fifty years, has positively contributed in building ethical social opinion through media. He established and manages “Gujarat Samachar”, a highly credible weekly newspaper published from the UK Shri C. B. Patel has successfully taken up a number of socially beneficial causes with great dedication and zeal and has thus contributed in bringing about positive change.
