Poverty prevents children in rural areas from obtaining a basic education.
Millions of children are unable to attend school because they are needed to earn money for their families.
Without a basic education, these children are trapped in a life of hard labour and barely sustainable wages.
COMS is helping some of them realize this dream…
COMS is a sponsorship program for underprivileged children in both rural and urban areas.
Through this scheme, needy children will have access to their basic right to an EDUCATION.
Your ADDITIONAL SUPPORT helps a needy child to pay all expenses relating to books, stationary, uniforms, shoes, yearly medical check-ups, an educational tour, and gives the assurance that children meet attendance and performance requirements in school.

Books, Uniforms, Shoes
Provision of uniforms, shoes, books, stationary and school bags to school children.
This has proved to be an indirect incentive and raised school attendance levels.
Meals for School children…
Children from needy families are provided a nutritious meal free of charge on a daily basis.
Additionally, all children studying in Anoopam Mission’s schools, benefit from subsidized meals.
Toy Library…
Toys play an instrumental role in children’s development.
So a toy library has been established, providing a variety of toys to those children that cannot afford them.
Health & Hygiene…
Free medical check-ups and preventive health education (nail cutting, hair cutting, lice and nit cleaning) is given to school children to provide long term solutions to common health issues.
Ways to participate in COMS…
Sponsor a child for one year OR Create an Educational Fund with Anoopam Mission and permanently provide education for a child / children, through the annual interest generated on the fund.*
